Hi and welcome to our blog.  We are a family of three...Mom, Dad and kid.  We live a simple life and enjoy each others company.  We believe in a quality family life and love to travel together even if it's only for a day.  On any given Sunday (or Saturday) our day trips typically include having our kid point to a spot on our state map and off we go.  These day trips are void of any technology except for a paper map and a cheap pair of reading glasses! 

We set off with a full tank of gas in the car and empty tanks in our bellies.  Our mission is to find a local eatery in the area we are heading and then give our humble points of view (POV) on the establishment and the food.  We thought it would be fun to share our points of view with other families and will do so from the Mom POV, the Dad POV and the Kid POV.  Our hope is that other families will find this information helpful and fun, in an effort to maybe bring back some good old fashion family time.
